Intellectual outputs

There are 6 Intellectual Outputs included in the project. Each partner organisation is responsible for one of them, European Development Agency, as a lead partner, for two of them.

IO1 – Guidelines on the use of 3DP in Adult Education

This Intellectual Output consists in the preparation of the guidelines regarding the use of 3D printing in Adult education. It will provide essential information for the following steps in the project and, also, for anybody interested in using of 3D printing in Adult education.

IO2 – 3DP Case Studies for Adult Education

This Output consists in the preparation and the analyses of case-studies related to the use of 3D printing in Adult Education.  It will provide essential information for the following steps in the project and, also, for anybody interested in using of 3D printing in Adult education.

IO3 – Curriculum of a 3DP Course for Adult Training

This Intellectual Output consists in the development of the curricula of the 3DP course dedicated to Adult education. The curricula will be based on the user needs analysis and will embed at least these topics:

  • Introduction to 3D printing
  • Available 3D printing technologies
  • Design with 3D printing in mind
  • Slicer software for subsequent 3D printing
  • Future of 3D printing technologies
  • Case studies in the industry to show the potential for boosting entrepreneurial spirit, creativity and innovation
  • 3D printing to boost creativity and innovation
  • 3DP and entrepreneurship

IO4 – 3DP Course Content for Adult Training

Creating the final courseware will be an interactive process – the first version will be tested in real time conditions (via learning activities/pilots), feedback will be gathered from the participants and it will be embedded in order to improve it and finally generate a final version. The final courseware will be in all the partner national languages – English, Czech, Romanian, Lithuanian and Croatian.

IO5 – 3DP trainer guidelines

This Intellectual Output consists in the guidelines for the 3DP trainers. Creating the final version of the guidelines will be an interactive process – the first version will be tested in real time conditions (via learning activities/pilots), feedback will be gathered from the participants and it will be embedded in order to improve it and finally generate a final version.

IO6 – 3DP e-Learning System for Adult Training

In order to improve the knowledge about effective use of 3D printing in adult education and make it easily accesible, modern learning management system (LMS) will be developed. This IO will be a great opportunity to deliver detailed and up to date information regarding 3D printing, along with a number of guidlines and case studies, allowing transforming knowledge into practice in Adult Education institutions.

The content will be based on the 3DP course content previously developed. LMS will provide all the standard facilities for distance learning, including tracking learner activity, tests and quizzes, forum, etc.

The LMS will be created as a web based system, so it will be possible to use it from a variety of different devices (such as PCs, laptops, tablets). In order to make the learning process not only effective, but also entertaining, the system will make use of the up-to-date guidelines regarding the user interface and user experience, and will also utilise a clean and easy-to-use look.
